Job Description Our client, a manufacturing firm located in Merced CA, is looking for a fulltime Production Manager.
The Production Manager will be responsible for the overall facility manufacturing process including but not limited to personnel, planning, scheduling, budgeting, quality, and maintenance.
Implement LEAN initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Review orders and determine tower production schedule Manage rush, priority as well as customer service and warranty work Develop, review and maintain budget and gross margin expectations Communicate company business and changes to employees as needed Ensure that staff have equipment and supplies to perform their job duties Ensure proper equipment maintenance is conducted monthly Create written production and repair standards for the organization Ensure all product meets quality, company and industry standards Lead LEAN manufacturing initiatives Produce drawings/illustrations/tooling to assist the production process See that all personnel are properly trained for their position Positively support company goals and directives Maintain and support open communication between/among supervisors, hourly employees and the home office On the call list 24 hours, 7 days a week for the facilities alarm system Source:
